Sun is a blond dressed in sunny yellow.
Sawyer is my oriental princess.
Charlie is the son their family never got. (tom boyish clothes, short hair)
Sayid is a soldier want to be. (military career track)
Nothing interesting that stood out about Locke, Hurley, or Jack. They were rolled and nothing was changed about them.
They arrive to a green unchanged lot.
Since it is an island, I put water on two sides. The pool is hidden behind the mountain with tree's on it. First objective was to send everyone to fish until the paper arrived. Once the paper arrived, they looked to see who could get a job. Three got a job the first day. Adventurer was one of the jobs and two sims have that career track. That worked out positive for me.
Money was reduced to $10 below the amount listed in the rules.
Next thing I did was purchase the fridge. I sent a sim to "make many group meals".... jello. The sim made 12 of those and were stored in the back pack. Next, I had the sim take out juice or chips until it was fully empty. (check) That's done.
Then I purchased a bed and started sending sims to sleep. I checked to see who had the lowest energy level and sent them to rest. If I had realized recliners was an option, I would have put those in instead. Saves time on making the bed and can be used for eating or study time. It worked out without the recliners, so all is good.
Next up, added a counter and put out one plate of jello and sent sim whose hunger level was the lowest, but not employed. Employee's can eat at work. I think they have free food in the break room. They seem to find food some how as their hunger level fills up about the middle of their shift.
Next up... sell the high dollar fish and put the cheaper ones in the fridge. I couldn't believe how much they made with selling fish. I was able to buy another bed and put in wall for a shower and toilet. I think I already had a phone, but don't recall just now. They had a phone pretty early even though they didn't use it.
As soon as I could, I started a garden with the hopes to get at least one plantsim. I also purchased a flower bench to get the gold badge and make snapdragons. Then.... life will run without need of food or other needs just sleep. I didn't end up getting the flower bench until (I think) the 2nd week. Either way, that is what I was working towards.
Sawyer returns from work.
Time to say good bye to the first sim. Good bye JACK. I failed to take pictures of the items they purchased as they were added. I did it with the first attempt and forgot to do it again or thought I had. It doesn't matter, I'll just guess at is as we progress.
Above you can see the BBQ grill and at least 3 cheap chairs and a bookcase. Bookcase was purchased due to the skills needed.
I guess Jack lives with the cannibals now. We can only hope he, somehow, survives. He may return in week two. If not, we can hope to see him at the reunion show.
Kate is the next to leave. Good bye Kate. We hope the TV show people put you in a nice plush house so you can return to the reunion show. We are afraid she is taken to the cannibals that live on a different part of the island. Oh well, it isn't us so we don't care. BYE KATE.
I took this shot of the two cars. I think there were two because one was about to leave (end of hour) and the other was to pick up a different sim (start of hour). I'm glad I added it because I can see what I was able to purchase from the money earned from fishing and promotions or work.
I have about an 18 plot garden that is mature to the level of bug infestation. I have four beds in one bedroom. Two small bathrooms (2x2). One has the only toilet allowed and the other has the only shower allowed. No sink, yet. A fridge with at last one wall section for the cheap counter and phone. A sofa that sets 3 sims and can be used as a sleeping place. A cheap desk and computer. Fishing is very profitable. The part of the challenge I expected to be the most difficult, ended up not being at all difficult (money for items). If they were not allowed to work, I think it would have been a lot harder. That might be interesting to play out.
My first plantsim. (ahh) I hope life will be a little easier. The only problem is I need to buy a sun lamp and don't have the cash for it. I hope it will be fine since the sims spend most of their day outside. So I hope the lack of a sun lamp will not be a problem.

Lights turned on to see the sim.
Sun is now a plantsim. Good luck Sun, life could be more of a challenge or your on easy street to be the final Lost player.
I noticed a sim sneaking around on the lot and became very hopeful.
The sim opens his trash bag to place the gift on the lot. (crosses finger for a great gift).
Red smoke fills the area. Red smoke normally means bad. Eye Hatsims, a visitor, has a water balloon and is about to hit someone with it.
The gift is an expensive telescope. The sim who gave it sneaks off. The gift is a result of an "outing". A sim came home with a co-worker. Since they start with a relationship boost, I decided to ask the sim on an outing in hopes to get a gift or job promotion. I needed to spend the time to build the friendship anyway, I figured I may as well do it in a way that could pay off in other areas. It worked out to be a good strategy. I saved game and exited since I didn't know what to do with the telescope. It isn't on the list of items allowed. The option of gifts were not addressed so saving the game at this point was the best choice.
I return to the game and took a shot of the telescope.
Then sold it. (heehee) Since it isn't on the list, it was decided to sell the item. No problem, the money can be put to better use on something they need.
Hurley is the final sim to leave for week one. In the background, Sawyer is spraying for bugs. Will she be changed into a plantsim before she is forced to leave by taxi. Just beyond the garden a sim is working on one of the weight benches. For some reason he would not stay in the pool so I gave him the workout bench.
Sawyer is the only sim to say good bye to Hurley.
A few hours later, the workout bench catches on fire. OMG did you know that was possible. I had no idea. I know the treadmill causes sims to heat up pretty fast and the other machines didn't seem to. I wasn't even watching his heat level.
The fire gives Sun a aspiration hit. Oh boy, I hope that doesn't mean I lose the beloved plantsim. The sim who was working out and watching the fire ended up catching on fire. I'm not sure what was more interesting the workbench on flames or the sim who caused it who was on flames. (shakes head). I figured the sim was good for dead. No one would put out the sim or the workbench. I guess they were all to shocked by the unexpected fire. Luckily, one of them got their act together and put out the flaming sim, then the work bench. After that, several of them needed a shower.
Week ONE recap: The sims with the lowest aspiration points who were forced to leave the island retreat were..... JACK, KATE, and HURLEY.
Who will come back? And will they be able to regain control of the island and outlast a different player?

Hooray a plant sim! I wonder if that helped or hurt her in the long run... off to read more!
I never even bothered with the gardening part. Fishing was so profitable both with meals and cash that I didn't bother. I love the shot of the workbench on fire. I think it's so neat that they added that with Seasons. I love spontaneous fires. lol
Wow a plant sim interesting. Thank goodness they live outside. I had no idea the work out bench could start on fire!
